Growing Together, Step by Step
At Learning Steps Daycare, children of different ages learn and play alongside one another, just like a real family
Each child receives care tailored to their unique stage of development while enjoying the rich benefits of a multi-age environment

Infant Daycare (Birth to 18 Months)
Your baby's first relationships outside of home matter deeply.
With 35 plus years of experience in childcare, I bring out the best in every little one through constant care and nurture. My intense passion to love and help children is what motivated me to establish Learning Steps.
In our warm, calm environment, your infant receives attentive care from someone who learns their unique cues; the hungry cry, the tired rub of the eyes, the happy coo. We follow your baby's own schedule for feeding, sleeping, and playing. There is no rushed timeline, only gentle responsiveness.
What your infant will experience:
Consistent, loving caregiver who knows your baby's rhythms
Individual sleep and feeding schedules honored
Daily updates on feeding, diapering, naps, and new discoveries
A calm, low-sensory space for developing brains
Main Focus: Security and responsive attachment

Toddler Daycare (19 to 36 Months)
Your toddler is bursting with curiosity, energy, and the powerful desire to say "I do it myself." This is a beautiful and busy stage. You can feel calm leaving your child with me, knowing that I have the experience and certifications needed to guide these early steps toward independence.
We celebrate every "mine" and every "no" as a sign of healthy development. I provide gentle, consistent boundaries that help toddlers feel safe while they explore. Language explodes during this stage, so we fill our days with conversation, books, songs, and lots of patient listening.
What your toddler will experience:
Support for growing independence with safe limits
Language-rich environment with stories and songs
Fine and gross motor play throughout the day
Potty learning support when your child is ready
Main Focus: Independence with gentle guidance

Preschool Children (3 to 5 Years)
These are the wonder years, when friendships bloom, questions never end, and imaginations soar. As a trained and certified family childcare provider, I offer the quality care your growing child deserves.
Children in this age group become natural leaders in our multi-age family. They help younger friends, model kind words, and discover the joy of being a role model. Through play-based learning, we build the skills for kindergarten: sharing, listening, following multi-step directions, recognizing letters and numbers, and expressing feelings with words.
What your preschooler will experience:
Leadership opportunities helping younger friends
Play-based literacy and numeracy woven into daily activities
Social-emotional skills for school success
Confidence to ask questions, try new things, and make friends
Main Focus: Kindergarten readiness through play
A Note About Our Multi-Age Family
While each age group has its own focus, our greatest strength is how children learn from one another every day. Infants watch the toddlers. Toddlers imitate the preschoolers. Preschoolers learn patience and kindness by helping the little ones. This is how families work, and how children thrive.
